Yup it’s all subjective & always open for critiquing. A guideline for me mostly. - Nighthawk
I thought Detroit should be about 5 spots higher, but as you say, it is subjective. |

A lot of these sites, consider flashiness/goalscoring as a high priority, they love me some smaller players, as opposed to players like Gadj and MacEwen who are big men. - Reubenkincade
I can see ZacMac playing 4 th line he is a big boy that can hit and score. He may be ready at the start of next year. He had a good first year with 10 goals 33 pts and is playing more meaningful minutes in the two games so far.
Off to a good start 1 goal 3 assists playing with Boucher I think |

Mace-Ewen has looked great so far in Utica - IMO give him the full year and he'll be ready to step in for 4th line duties next year - they'll have to move someone out (Schaller?)
Lind looked pretty good in the first game - I'm surprised they scratched him actually.
Kinda bummed Gadjovich hasn't drawn in yet in favour of guys like Woods and Darcy who i doubt will ever play an NHL game but maybe he's injured?
Juolevi has looked really good with the puck - i like that he's on the PP immediately and he's taking the reigns and showing why we drafted him - i think 20+ games and he's be feeling close to ready. Got tickets for the 2 upcoming games in Toronto so looking forward to seeing everyone in person. - Brooks_Light
Thanks Brooksie.
I'm thinking we see OJ soon as well.

As they should. The game has changed. I hope Gadj can get fast enough to play but at this point is not looking like one of JB's savvy picks IMO. |

Cholowski and Rasmussen are in the NHL lineup, they don't have a ton of depth beyond that. Zadin of course and Svechnikov, I like Givani Smith... but they don't have a ton of talent IMO. |

Given Schaller has a 2yr deal i see it as JB expecting a MacEwen or Gads to be ready after that or call ups hopefully.
With Dahlen Gaudette & Lind maranading til developed & push for a spot other current players are placeholders. Leipsic Motte Granlund LE & Sven come to mind unless they cement themselves as valuable.
All in all we can foresee a lot more roster shuffling ahead for us. D being the obvious priority. |

The players are getting smaller and faster but you still need a few players that are going to be battling infront of the net for pucks. Gadjovich has shown some nice hands infront of the net. He may have a place. |

He is making ppl notice him. Trending nicely & be nice if he has a huge break out season in Utica. |

Maybe if he learns how to skate. He's got some tough sledding ahead trying to get faster, I thought he looked pretty unimpressive in the preseason in comparison to most of our prospects. |

Who is the first Dman on Van to get injured?
Tanev would be an easy bet.
But i'll take Stetcher. |

Gads has to find his niche if he’s to become an NHL regular. The type of player & skill set that is in no rush to expect to be ready for a few years. Skating is worked on by most players & he needs to improve some. |

I don't think his skating is amazing but I can certainly see him getting to the net in time. Matthew Tkachuk is a pretty poopty skater but he's able to get to the net in time. Obviously Gadjovich doesn't have the same hands as Tkachuk but making living banging in pucks. |

In the right role & right linemates & his best chance is the 3rd wheel on a line IMO. Net front on PP 2nd line maybe. |

I will say Gudbrandson gets a sprained neck from twisting his head to quick watching someone fly by him |

If Gadjo plays mean he will make the team. His prpblem so far is he is not mean enough or fast enough.

Aĺthough his skating needs some improvement, he had a wrist injury last season.
His troubles this early in the season, are not much dissimilar to Brock, who is also coming off a wrist injury and isn't the best of skaters. Imo. |

Well done Carol and Happy thx-giving to all who are celebrating with Family.
Beagle at 12 min of ice time is not good. That needs to rise a bit to help our defensive structure. Schaller needs to draw in as well as not only can he help defensively he can contribute with a few goals here/there. Rousell will help too once healthy and ready to play. I get the need for scoring...but those three need to be in the lineup. |

He was an average skater in the OHL relative to the league. Not dissimilar to Gaunce. Probably a realistic-ish look at what he could be in 2-3 years. |

He should blame his passing on a wrist/shoulder injury.
Its like watching Sbisa all over again when he has the puck. |

Better net front presence for tips & garbage goals than Gaunce. Also can shoot better. Projecting as a top 9 winger at best who needs time to figure out how to fit in. Working on skating is standard & attention to the details. |

Guds doesn’t make quick decisions & throws it up the boards ending up in icing too often. I’d rather he pass back to his partner for the outlet pass. |

He has the time and the space and the lane to make a pass, but then he waits a second too long so the lane is now gone and then he panics. Icing.
Same thing Sbisa would do.
Its one thing if he's trying to make a pass and it just misses. You can forgive it then. But the dude struggles to make 10 foot passes at times under no pressure. |
