Its one thing if he's trying to make a pass and it just misses. You can forgive it then. But the dude struggles to make 10 foot passes at times under no pressure.

A player like Edler Tanev or Sutter may get you a first round pick at TDL. Is that better?

If no 1st then it had better be a good hockey trade. JB does that more often since i believe higher picks are harder & harder to get.

You create a list of players that need to improve their skating and have wrist injuries that you know of off hand. Go.

That's straight off the top of my head, I don't look any names up. I don't think you realize how common wrist injuries are. Also, Brock's skating is better than Gadj IMO. He also has enough skill to find open ice and create open ice with his hands, much like Stone, Reinhart and Kane who are not particularly fast. Those are also three players I would never compare Gadjovic too, because their playing styles are very different. I could competently compare each to Brock, because the skill and challenges are actually similar.

You don't give as much leash to a guy who is supposed to excel in the defensive aspects of the game.

that is true. he's in his own head and behind the play.

i saw some improvements in the 3rd period and im not worried longterm.

No argument at all about the goalies and I don't think Demko is the answer either. I would be looking into free agency.

The D I am pretty sure you are right but I will wait 20 games to give my yes they are terrible approval. I have seen some things I like on D but it is a long shot

that's pretty much where we're at in a teambuilding sense.

OJ and QH will round out the d corp nicely, but a big question mark remains on keeping tanev and edler.

we may have to go UFA route for both D and G next 2 years.


I realise Panarin and Nylander will help us score but our backend will undoubtedly hold us back so both those scenarios still feel a bit premature.
