I said it after the first game: it was a positive thing that our best players were the worst players, and the depth guys looked good, because I knew Eichel would come around. That's still true imo. I think Skinner, Mitts and Dahlin are all stuck in 3rd gear, but once they breakout, this could be a dangerous team. Nylander would sure be nice to play with Berglund. That's really my only qualm

Not if I was a poor performer when there. If he was standing on his head, not getting help, I would completely get it.

He wasn't, he was part of the problem.

If I was at a high paying job, performed poorly, was given a shot at another high paying job despite some real question marks...I'd just be happy to still have a job. Not sure casting aspersions about my former employer...especially if my former boss was kind enough to check on me at my new gig.

The problem with that is trying to draw a parallel between professional sports and the real world. In the real world the vast majority of these guys wouldn't get a 3rd or 4th chance. They also likely wouldn't be let go in so short a period of time either.

He's killing it. Lundqvist made an amazing Brodeur-esque flying pad stack save on him, and Halak flashed the leather on him. Not to mention the breakaway last game. He could
easily be 2+1 right now
