That was clearly Pouliot's fault the winger went around him and EG was trying to go get him then .
It is always one excuse or another, this D is not good at all. They all need to be changed and the sooner the better. - VANTEL
So far, this has been what is noticeably bad about the team's defense this year, the corps is not prepared to handle their partner's inevitable failure.
Someone gets beat, so they just vacate their position to take the puck carrier, instead of trying to get in a good position to contain the problem. It gives me vibes that they do not trust each other, nor the goaltender (we can all joke about how they wouldn't trust them either, but the lack of it IMO is making things much much worse). Tanev is about the one who plays smart in those scenarios and mitigates the damage |

Gagner did not have trade value, Pouliot has no trade value and Gudbranson at this time would get you a fourth round pick. - VANTEL
True, but Benning did say he explored the trade market for Gagner, no reason he can't try and do the same with the other players listed. |

Maybe Weisbrod would have better luck? If JB was only approving trades instead of negotiating them maybe we would see better results. |

Gagner would be a great fit in TO. |

So him and Jarvis can go. TG gets to stay as with Newell Brown. |

Never thought the Griffiths would sell, then I didn’t think the McCaws would sell and now you don’t think the Aquilinis will sell. Vancouver isn’t just hard on the goalies, it’s an owners graveyard too. |

I was thinking peanut butter with chocolate? It’s called a throw pillow because you can throw it in the wash right? |

I thought it was throw it away and then dash off to Pier 1 Imports to surprise with new accents in the living room. |

Gillis segment 1
Lots of injuries in 2011 playoff run cost them the cup
Hodgson had a lot of outside influences that caused Canucks headaches . It was better to trade him that deal with issues
Media and everyone hated Gillis and Canucks . Lots of locker room issues amongst themselves also. He would have done things differently.
In hindsight he would have changed his scouting staff earlier |
