I don't necessarily expect him to be moved up, but I wouldn't be against moving Voroboyev up to 2C to start assuming Patrick is missing time. Voroboyev played well in the preseason with good linemates.
It was hard to keep track of what the lines were last night with all of the penalties, but it looked like Laughton took some shifts at 2C and Lehtera at 2C? Lehtera actually had a good game but no way would I count on him being successful as 2C if he had to do it for a few weeks. |

I loved when he stood up for Hagg (?) - Scoob
That was for Lindblom and then Hagg went after the douche later when they had that full line "scrap" or whatever you want to call that. But to be honest, Lindblom is lucky he wasn't severely injured from that cheap shot. |

Your team sucks, just face the facts until you get a coach you are doomed, Ottawa is a mix of ahl, jr and a couple pros so don't get too excited.

In his defense, he was personally taught the game by King Clancy and Nels Stewart. |

Yeah most people were talking about the high sticking penalty but I think it was the hit he took along the boards after that which did him in.
I really hope it's nothing major and he can return quickly. He's isn't playing that well, but the kid is needed. - Yosimar89
I'm not a Dr., I just play one on TV....
He has either a dislocated/separated or extreme stinger. His head didn't seem to hit glass nor rock his head back.

I'm hoping its just a stinger and they are being a cautious. IF he only misses a game or 2 it's really no big deal.

About time Weise did something. Let’s see if he can actually have 2 decent games in a row.
That aside, it was good to see the top line wake up and lead by example and while it was far from a perfect game a win is a win. - BiggE
Vegas line vs Vegas pins it at:
75-1 he plays a decent game
25-1 mildly Terrible game
2-1 reverts back to Dale W.

Nice bounce back win. Flyers are still giving up way too many shot/chances. The PK system with one rover up top and another passive top PK'er isn't working. Laughton and Raffl have become solid PK players but overall the system itself feels flawed and way too passive. Waiting for Provorov to take a deep breath and let the game come to him. He's forcing things now. It'll come. Remember the calming ability of Pronger and Timonen? |

On the first goal....I was pretty sure there was a kicking motion. Did anyone else seem to think so? I didn't think it was as close as some where saying. I see his leg move forward so the puck goes straight to net. |

goaltending is very average if not below average. d is just horrible outside of ghost and would expect provy to round into shape shortly. most of it due to youth on the back end. our forward group outside the top 6 is still putrid. I don't think our 3rd line center(spelling I wont even try)is below average in the regular season. 4th line is whatever. our coach is just horrible, again. The future is bright. But I don't see us actually being a threat until 2019-2020 season and I think that's a year early. - jmdodgeser4
While I don't agree with everything you say other than more youth how is that any different then the past few years that would warrant a step back?

There is a good gif on BSH.
Hit direct on Shoulder a really bad stinger plausible.
He did have a lot of momentum so a separation could be possible.
Surgery by Monday = dislocated.

If you have a name like King Clancy, you'd better either be a bad ass hockey player from the '20's or an Irish crime lord. |

so is all of the "laughton isnt any good" talk finally over?
is he officially not a bust?
big blow to team negative
laughton has been one of the best and most consistent players on this team since the playoffs last year.
the kid is good!! late bloomer but he is showing his worth now.
I've always been a laughton fan so this pleases me....
carry on - sILKAsSINASALO
As one of the biggest bashers of this kid as a bust...I stand corrected!
That stint in AHL really helped this kids development.

Long, sad, but interesting. I don't remember the guy though.

Growing up on the '80's NHL, I definitely remember Joe Murphy.
He was a Number 1 overall pick for Detroit, and for a time, was considered kind of a bust. He really found his game when he went to Edmonton in a trade and formed "The Kid Line" (with a young Adam Graves and Martin Gelinas) on the '90 Cup Champion Oilers team that won it after Gretzky was traded.

It was Lindblom. And it led directly to a PP goal for the Sens, but such is life. He definitely got his money's worth lol |

There was a kicking motion but it then deflected off another player's skate without a kicking motion and then into the goal... So good. |

That goal actually got kicked twice on the way to the back of the net and no, I don't think it should have counted. Like, literally, that was a better soccer goal than a hockey goal.
He clearly kicked it in, but whatever.
