I came into the season not caring about wins or losses as I expect a lot more of the latter than the former.
In this instance, I don't care they hung on for a victory. I understand what you're saying and winning is the best form of retribution.
But imo, in this case, in this season, from a young team trying to establish a new identity, physical pushback was needed. - RealityChecker
I think is is exactly what most of us are saying. Quite simple really.
I don't have an athletic subscription, so I don't know who the author is, or the date or times. Just reposting what is being dissected from the article from people online. What I posted is what I was able to see. - Codes1087
Fair enough, I don't know who reposted that section of the article but my point remains the same, whoever is posting only that is being selective to further their point.

thats fair to say. And I will admit guilt from just going from a portion of the article before knowing the full scope, having said that, i refuse to pay for a subscription to site who employs botchford (level headed takes or not) lol
Perhaps at the moment the attack occurred, but one guy not involved in the play bodychecking a different guy also not in the play at some point later in the game doesn't solve anything. I mean, are you suggesting a Canuck player goes out and intentionally injure a skilled Panther player? - 1970vintage
At least the narrative is moving from, we need to react so the league knows we won't stand for this and thus EP will be safe to a much more honest they got our guy, let's get theirs !!
If Gudbranson doesn't do this to Matheson in Van later this year I will be very angry at this team. I fully expect the team to hit him hard, a lot, and fight him/break his face like Gudbranson broke Hamonics face.

Deliberately attempt to injure? No.
Play physically during the play and instigate the pushing and shoving in between whistles. Face wash the skilled players until one of their players wants to do anything.
Talking sh!t and waiting until February is laughable. And to be honest, I won't give a sh!t if Florida misses the playoffs by 1 point. Seriously, it will provide zero satisfaction.
I think push back is a stupid term, like asset management and development, and fans here glob on to anything they think will make them sound smart. - 1970vintage

I would suggest not using him as a source if that is the way you feel.

Sunday hate is god's blessing you senseless hater of swedes.
I enjoy a difference of opinion with substance, no reason to deal in absolutes or get off topic. We feel differently, and i wouldnt debate it with you if i didnt want to hear your angle of it. - Codes1087
Didn't you always blame the Sedins for setting the country club culture? Looks like they weren't the ones holding the rest of the team back..... - Nucker101
"Everyone loves drama, no denying that. But you know I love more? A team with pride and a damn backbone.
I guess your comment here threw me off.
I have come to terms with Canucks and Grit being an oxymoron .
