I've been advocating for his start since Colombus day. Dude has the same calmness as Hutton, and adds 4 inches on top. His puck-handling skills suck, comparatively. Hopefully Carter can help him with that. That's what Ullmark needs to work on most

To me, his defense is spectacular, and that's what I thought might take a little time to come around because of the speed, different angles. While it happened in the O-Zone, his stick lift/takeaway at the line to keep the puck in. And the whole package they ran in the second intermission just showed more of the same, positionally sound, cat-like reflexes. He tried to get a little cute in the O-Zone at the end of the game, but whatever, that's going to happen. The kid is legit and seems unflappable.

He needs more than the 17 minutes he got tonight though.

I agree. They are both playing well and Hutton has never been a clear cut starter in his career. He stepped up big time when Jake Allen went down but still not a starter.
