Imac going against the grain? This isnt surprising. Comparing this game to all other games in the NHL on saturday, and citing no other fights is a stupid take, situationally i would assume that those teams didnt lose their star player to a questionable play. Also, when the players lose the ability to police themselves, all the while leaving all of these plays to DOPS, will be a very scary day. If benning and imac feel this way about fighting, than what is their NOW response to the additions of gudbranson/roussel. Are their jobs not heavily dependent on protecting others?

If Roussel and/or Gudbranson gooned it up and the team lost, this shill would’ve wrote about how sending a message was more important than the 2 points and how Benning is a genius for acquiring those guys.

Even if he's not right for this team, should have solid trade value. Baerschi is looking more like a trade chip every day, finally someone with value!

With Gaudette being called up, and possibly Dahlen, I think it is most likely to replace Motte and Leipsic in the press box.

I imagine, because 2 centers just went down, that Granlund and Schaller get rotated into the 3C and 4C roles, with Leipsic and Motte taking their winger positions (or rotating in as wingers on any line).

I would imagine yes to Gaudette. Can't imagine they bring up more than one when they've got two guys that were sitting out. You don't need to replace healthy scratch guys, recalling someone from utica is an option but not required in this case IMO.

I would have liked to see Bo Horvat go up to Matheson after scoring that goal and fighting him right there. “I burned you on the ice, now I’m going to burn your face”.

On another note, potential coaching tactic in situations like this. Teams have 12 forwards and 6 D, what if you sent out a forward every shift to take a D from the other team off the ice for 5 min in a fight...
