They have to draft thinking that Kotkaniemi, Suzuki and Poehling will fix the problem down the middle... They need to replenish the void left by Sergachev

It may, but agaisnt LA it seemed like a bigger team can still box them out pretty effectively.

Good news is, not that many teams are built like LA nowadays.

Even the Flyers or Bruins, historically physical teams, are now also focused on speed and talent.

Habs are playing well, they can compete with anyone.

Is he really a puck moving D? I thought he was more known for laying people out? Still pretty pumped about him, Brook and Fleury though

LA dominated them physically for sure. I suspect several of them were nervous for the home opener, and they played like they were. Not an excuse for them, but something that happens to a young team on occasion.

Good test agaisnt St-Louis they have alot of big guys back there.

He will fetch a huge return. Maybe we can get two chickens and a pig.
- hscesq

Obie thinks he might fetch us the next Tatar that the Habs will then flip because Habs won't win a cup this year so why keep good players?

Think he's supposed to be pretty solid offensively, with a heavy shot as well. Brook is also known for offensive skill, is he not?

I honestly don't remember the last time the Habs had such a good prospect pool.

Of course we need to keep drafting but things are looking up from 2-3 years ago.

1 point in 17 games played this year.

I think Kale Fleuri is a better prospect

Why keep good players over a certain age? Yea, that theory makes sense even when you try and say it in a sarcastic way

They've looked horrible ever since Tanner predicted they'd win the Stanley cup.

Not many 18 year old actually play in the KHL.

His average TOI is trending up and he's not getting destroyed defensively.

I say things are looking good so far.

Tatar is only 27 though. May not be a bad guy to hang on to.

Let's be honest - so many people hate you, that it's difficult to keep up with all the action.
