let's have a different coach prepare him - homiedclown
With how much of an offensive league this has become,
there’s something to be said for having an offensive minded HC
However,
McD does have the defense playing well
He should be getting credit for that
I’m not a big fan of Dabol so far though |

Bogo back?
"It appears that defenseman Zach Bogosian may make his season debut Tuesday night. Bogosian skated during practice Monday with Nathan Beaulieu while Casey Nelson was dropped to a pairing with Matt Tennyson, who has yet to make an appearance in the first five games.
"We'll see what the trainers say," said coach Phil Housley. "He looked really good again today so we'll know more tomorrow."" |

Bills are going nowhere, I am 100% focused on the Sabres.
Regarding the Sabres...
1) why won't they waive Larsson and Beaulieu to Rochester?
2) what do Nylander, CJ Smith, Oloffson and Pilut have to do to get promoted?
Asking for my wife. - SabreWest
Sounds like Bogo is back tomorrow, so someone on the D is sitting or getting waived.
I think if we were playing poorly, they might look at waiving roster players and bringing up kids. But because we have had 3 good games out of five, we're leaning towards the development path for the kids.
Also sounds like Hunwicks injury may be career ending, so that would be another defenceman off the roster.

With Sens and Habs both winning tonight we dropped to 5th in the Atlantic. We need to make the most out of this road trip so we don’t get too far behind in October. |

the 49ers with a qb that should be on an xfl roster is moving the ball like crazy onn green bay
this gm and coach can not design an offense for 2018 nfl |

I think they can beat every team on this trip. San Jose may be the toughest, but the Sabres have an unreal record in the shark tank. We'll see.

I’m not following...
McD is a defensive coach
Dabol is supposed to be the one developing Allen & running the offense |

We aren’t making the playoffs anyways
How many more games do we win with Allen in there?
And does it even matter?
Heck,
isn’t there an argument to be made that we want a really high draft pick anyways?
And...
Why do we need to “have an idea what he is” this week?
Why can’t we get him better prepared,
and then put him back in and see how he does?
Where’s the harm in that? - jdfitz77
The same place as if they play him (healthy)...nowhere. Allen isn't being helped or hindered right now. He's still the best quarterback on this roster. By how much is up for debate. If he ultimately fails, it won't be because he didn't sit this year. |

hire an offensive minded head coach
or a coach that will let the offensive coach let it fly
we should have hired rex ryan's bum friend to be our head coach, chargers are fun to watch |

If they ignore the offense in the draft and free agency next year, they should be fired in June. |

Well there’s a widely held idea throughout the league that u can harm (especially) a QBs development by playing them before they’re ready
It just makes sense to better prepare the guy so that he’s in a position where he can succeed once in there
Right now,
It appears to me that he’s just getting by on his talent & athleicism
That’s great
But it’s also why we aren’t seeing progression from him |

It's a myth and has been for a long time. The players that have succeeded from sitting learned from established veterans who had a track record of winning football games.
It's much more likely that we are not seeing progression from him because he simply isn't that good of a quarterback. |
