My opponent had Palmieri & Lundqvist and they (frank)ed me up in my previous round.
On a side note, my defensive lineup is insane.
Karlsson
Doughty
Hedman
Dahlin
Sergachev
- EdmHockeyMan
Not gonna lie, not a huge fan of Karlsson in fantasy (at least Yahoo). Kind of a plus minus killer. Even on San Jose, he's a -5. Doesn't really hit. Doesn't shoot as much as another defenseman on San Jose. Gets a tonne of points and powerplay points though which is useful.
Karlsson is still the best defenseman in the game. Sergachev is a good pick, not sure about Dahlin though.
Goals and assists aren't going to be an issue. Point will get at least 40 points.
I'm more worried about hits and +/-. Now that poop doesn't actually matter, but in Yahoo those are the two categories people don't really pay attention too. O'Reilly, while a better player than Ferland, Heinen and Point, will kill my plus-minus and won't contribute to hits. The only thing I worry about is losing his power play points. They had around the same amount of shots last season
He's also just a centre, whereas Heinen is considered a C, LW and RW and Ferland plays both wings. Versatility helps tbh - Oilers4Life14
I don't reckon O'Reilly is long for weak +/-. St Louis is a good and deep team. He even increased his shot rate last year and more points is never a downside. Your choice, though.

(frank) I still thought he played for Buffalo smh.
I'm debating dropping Keith for Nurse.
If Heinen doesn't do well I'll think about picking ROR back up.

Keep an eye on my boy Jokiharju. He's not likely to keep his current pace, but I don't think 35 points and 21+ mins a night isnt out of reach for him with how good he's looked on Keith's pairing.

Ah someone already has him.
Wanna bold perdiction? Nurse gets 50 pts this season.
Pffttt, female dog please. I already predicted he’d score in the 40’s this summer. I remember because my unbridled optimism almost gave HB77 a stroke. - Wildschwein
The Jets looked douchey enough though, dropping a 4-1 in the last period at home... still Trashers in heart. - VeryModernMan
They won’t do that too often. Love that the Oil came back and all, and they definitely out chanced the Jets in the 3rd, but I still feel like the Jets are the far better team.
Would love to see the Oil claim DiGuissepe. Solid young guy to push out Kassian; two-way ability, some physicality and solid offense in the AHL. - MaximumBone

That name seems a little too Italian for the Oilers likings. He's probably good with marionette puppets though.
Huh. You really think he’s worth a pick up? - Wildschwein
Good AHL scorer with a solid all-around game that's only being waived because he's on a deep team? Yeah, checks all the boxes for me. He and Chiasson easily upgrade on what Kassian is bringing right now.

True. Kassian has been invisible. Surprised we haven’t seen Chiasson yet.
saw a tweet online and automatically thought of Kris Russell:
"Blocking shots is like Killing rats, its preferable that you do that not, but in the end, if you find yourself doing it a lot, you have bigger problems."
and before people starting getting angry, Chris Tanev blocks a ton of shots as well.

Highly doubt anyone here would be pissed at you dude. We pretty much all think the same way.
