It's too bad Benning overpaid so much for Sutter and then gave him a ludicrous contract. Adam Lowry is just like Sutter, good third line center, plays PK, sticks up for his teammates (unlike Sutter) and chips in offensively. He also makes 2.5 million dollars a year less than Sutter

Really disappointed that i haven't gotten to watch any nucks games this year apart from the season opener. By the time i get back to Canada at the end of nov I expect the crash and burn will have begun

It is ridiculous the whining. Canucks have over 10 mil in space this year and 32 mil next year. Sutter is on of Canucks top players ,a leader , and does multiple things for the team.

Sutter also plays the most minutes a game for the Canucks right now. Hes their top penalty killer. Hes been incredibly underrated in this stretch of winning

Vancouver giants register 71 shots on goal vs swift current. Byram with only 7 of those.

Canucks last 20 regular season games they are 12-6-2 including the last 14 of last year.

Water under the bridge, but it in retrospect, it was a dumb trade for a totally mediocre player and then he overpaid him. Such is life in the Benning era. I meant 1.5 million, fat fingers.

The moral of my post was Lowry can do everything Sutter does for less. Benning had a penchant for overpaying for what he wanted when he got here.

Their PK this year has been exceptional. Their forwards especially. Sutter beagle motte and granlund have been great. Virtanen was also good when hew saw pk minutes

88.5%, good for 6th in the league, but being one of the most penalized teams in the league, its all the more impressive. We are only at 6 games, so its not sustainable at 88.5% for the year, but need to give credit where credit is due, this team has been way better than anyone has thought (it is still early)
