I know Thompson hasn’t looked good,
but maybe they need to get him off Berglund’s wing
Get him with Eichel or Mitts who can set him up

He struggled to score with StL playing on a line that had him in a defensive role
Idk why we are making the same mistake?

Correct. Thompson only played like 10 minutes in each of those games though. I know one of them
He played 9:07. With no relevant PP time it’s tough to make an impact playing those kind of minutes.

I honestly don’t get how Thompson or Mittelstadt have looked “bad” outside of a bad turnover or two.

Mittelstadt is on the brink of scoring some goals, Thompson gets little ice time.

It’s Berglund, Scandella, McCabe, Okposo and Reinhart, the guys with hundreds of NHL games who need to sack up and start producing

Berglund and Sobatka have proved to be very average players so far

And we are waiting on Thompson to start sniping some goals
It’s still early, but he very well could be a 3rd/4th line guy and not a goal scoring winger like many thought

We need ALL these guys to start scoring fairly consistently
That’s when you’ll see us winnning games frequently

The goal Oloffsson just scored on the pp was him coming down the wing and just flat out beating the goalie with his shot.
