we have a good balance of scoring and defensive responsibility on paper right now imo, and it takes more than 5 games to see who needs to lose their spot.

He can skate, he just falls a bit, Scott Hartnell couldn't stay on his skates and he managed to score 327 goals. He's fine at 12 minutes a night.

Scott Hartnell was tough as nails and could score, and he was an agitator. Girgs has 21 goals in 3 years, and gets up grinning and adjusting his visor after he spins wide right of a hit. We can do better

Think we all know Larson sucks but guess we can beat that dead horse a little more. How many years in a row can you watch the same type of hockey with these scrubs. Time to change it up!!

Not sure Nylander and Thompson are tha awswers now. Will be soon but think might need some time in the AHL. Would like to see Nylander get in a Rhythem down there before we bring him up. Finally thats possible in Rochester as there is much better talent around him. Dont think 6 pre seasons games earns him a spot after 2 years of floating.

Just because Nylander plays better than Girgs or Ellie or Sobutka dosent mean he deseaves one of there spots. Those are 4th line guys and not Top 6 like we are hoping for Nylander.

And to really stir the Sh*t, i really like Girgs. Awesome 4th liner. Any other team would be happy to have him. Fast, always plays with energy and can chip in a few ( yes can miss some wide open nets too). Build him with a true 4th line and hes easy a 10g 15a guy.
