I really don't like Jack Eichel's attitude, body language and effort. Trade this guy to Boston and be done with it.

I agree with everything but the trade. He looks frustrated and he needs to just start doing things on his own. He’s still young but he’s apparently mature enough to be captain so he should be the example on and off the ice

my 2 biggest beefs with this team

1. I know after 5 minutes if we are in the game or have no chance

2. I do not see in game adjustments

is this coaching?
I think we are more talented then this, but god fluery had an easy night

- homiedclown

And Hutton was tested. Definitely no adjustments. It's coaching.

It'll be awesome to lose games to him in the division forever

That's debatable lol

I'm no ROR fan but it took him basically running ROR out of town for him to get the C sewn on his uniform.

Once again....Rob Ray...."it wasn't good enough...they need to find a way to score goals...."
My 5 year old could be a Sabres analyst....

Of the 15 drives Peterman has led this season, 10 have resulted in a punt or turnover. Although it's a small sample size, his career interception rate of 11.4 percent ranks as the highest by any player since at least 1975, according to NFL Research.

These players need a coach that lights a fire under their asses, hold them accountable and bag-skates them when their effort sucks. They're complacent losing, half-ass everything and none of them play with a sense of urgency or passion.
- BeadyEyedDouche

Id say this applies to some of the players, but thats just who they are. either they just dont have that raw emotion or they've cashed in and dont really care. Or they're deflated from years of losing.

I mean, you could bag skate this team to death, its not going to fix their issues with passing, or in zone coverage, or teach 5 out of the 6 d-men to actually get a shot on net.

You're probably right with what you're saying about the coach, but I think that's the tip of the iceberg. They were projected to be an 80-85 point team, and so far they've played to that.

I've gotten my ass kicked doing a lot of things and would only try harder to NOT get my ass kicked thereafter. I don't buy the years of losing bullocks. Find a way to win, find a way to make a play, this isn't High School hockey it's the NHL, those excuses don't fly when there's millions of dollars involved.

They are PROFESSIONAL ATHELETES. It is literally their job to play the game with emotion and urgency.

Hmmm. If I were the Bills I'd just sign a CB to the practice squad in that case.

it's by far the most talented D group in the last 6 years and top 9 in 6 years

simple passing and shooting should not be an issue

The only improvement made on D was Dahlin. The rest of this group is the same. if an 18 year old is your best d-man, you are terrible on defense.

Im not saying this isn't a valid point, just that kicking an incompetent employees ass isn't likely to make him less incompetent. sure, he'll try harder but...if he sucks, who cares?

I think Scandella's fine in the trying department, he's just not nearly good enough to see the amount of ice time he does. Their job is to sell tickets, people keep buying em.

Yeah but they aren't attending the games. Thursday night home game, I get it, but that arena was maybe 1/3 full last week when I went. It was like Florida's arena.
