The goal Oloffsson just scored on the pp was him coming down the wing and just flat out beating the goalie with his shot.

That's the kind of goal i wonder about. Can he do the same to an NHL defenseman and goalie?

You wonder about that type of goal? Guess I’m just optimistic.

He’s not a first round pick. Will not fit in on this team

Another shot that just beats the goalie. Anyone wondering about that one?

Not on that one, lot to like there.

He's really forcing them to make a move. Maybe even after this road trip.

It just seems like every goal he scores is impressive. Don’t think I’ve seen a greasy/puck luck goal from him yet.

Every shot he takes is impressive. I really liked seeing him get that last one off from in tight.

I'm trying to think of the last time someone in Rochester really forced a call up, but I can't remember. Hate to think it's all the way back to the early Vanek years, but it might be.

Yes. Eichel cannot be compared to McDavid and Matthews. He's a grade below them...Frankly he's overpaid and has done nothing yet to deserve the C on his Jersey
- pwasil7

I agree but their hand was forced because moving on from would have been intolerable. Can he be coached up?

It's too bad no one on our NHL roster can pass to anything but another guy's skates

No it wasn't Vanek. He spent a full year there and then came up next season.

I'd say it was Afinogenov, Miller, Campbell. The only 3 I can think of off the top of my head.

Afinogenov had 18 points in 15 games for the Americans the season he got called up to the NHL.

Is this supposed great shot Thompson has on par with Olofsson’s?

Be nice to see these guys work out
Could help the scoring issues
