They seem to be good at shutting down top lines but then underestimating bottom 6 matchups - hoping for another good game from the Benny and Neal combo.

Most of Bennett’s problem we’re mental. Different coaching style seems to be working! Sure glad we didn’t give up on him. Like the way he’s being used, more depth up front hasn’t hurt either.

Would rather see Ryan at center but let’s see what Juanjo can do.

I think he’s doing fine so far. The whole team is playing well.

Gotta give credit to how Peters is running things, and giving kids a chance to play, but he’s got depth at every position to work with.
I was worried about the line shuffle he’s known for, but all 4 lines on this team are competent.
Peters also made a good coaches challenge. Flames won a coaches challenge? Young players are playing their way onto the team and not getting sat for 4th line plugs? The team came out playing hockey in the first? On home ice?

What universe is this???

Best flames game I’ve seen in a while. They came in with a solid game plan tailored to the team they were playing. I hope Jonny’s alright. I hope they stopped playing him because they were winning.

Bennett playing good means janko is the new Bennett ....we must ridicule him and discuss trading him

Fukushima that! Even Bergeron said Smith alone did a good job of shutting out their forecheck.

Our star got back up. Your's has the wrists of a 14 year old and had to have his mom pick him up early.

The Matheson Kid Slam is the winner.

So, 2 games for McAvoy?
Clearly a penalty, clearly an excessive force hit to a vulnerable player, and the principal point of contact was the head.

They were really over-passing in last night's game, just overthinking things instead of funneling pucks to the net.

Bruins did a good job getting in the shooting lane the odd time they try to get a shot off. Not too worried, they have time to figure it out, and if we're winning without the PP working as well, once it is clicking at full force, we will be nigh unstoppable.

Nigh.
