Kapanen still fairly young, right handed, not a bad guy to be looking at |

I would love Nylander, but that sure sounds like the Rangers would need to include the 2019 first rounder and I know we all dont want that included |

Kreider would be such a smart get for Edmonton
I cant even imagine how insane he would be skating on that ice surface, out there with McDavid and his vision |

Yes would love that. Plus Chia-pet is dumb enough to do it. |

I don't know, so what are we really saying here, that we are fine with him going to Hartford and not playing again for the Rangers this year to avoid that 9 game mark. Screw that. The kid is young, he's developing, and if he can use a few games in Hartford fine, but I can give a damn less about his entry level contract. I think it benefits him to play more games in the NHL this year, and I think just keeping him in Hartford to save the year on entry level is just stupid.
A player has to have something to play for, and you've randomly take that away from him by banishing him to Hartford with no chance of coming back up because of some entry level deal issue, I think that would be monumentally stupid. - Pete V
I am saying if he does go down - and no guarantee that happens - it doesn’t man he is a bust or the Rangers made a mistake. It’s to give him a chance to learn and grow and for the team to determine his best position. Then if he warrants being brought back him, call him back up. If not, then keep him in the minors. But the rhetoric that he is a bust or it’s a mistake to send him down is patently false. |

That seems like someone they'd want to hang on to, given they may have to trade Nylander |
