Cheers, haha, very nice! I wasn't going that route, but glad you did. - I Am The Breadman
One of the funniest episodes. They are shocking him whenever he says something obnoxious. He makes a regular statement and gets zapped, he’s like WTF? and the guy that picked up the control goes “Judgement Call” |

Yeah, I know it, great episode. Cliff and Peterson kill me. Up there with the Thanksgiving episode.
Just watched the episode on Netflix for old laugh's sake. As funny as it is, it is just as sad. |

Haha. Ok, I will mark my calendar. I'm not disappointed in/with him at all. I'm one of the few that doesn't constantly talk crap about him. He just needs to be selfish. |

Schmaltz, DeBrincat, Kahun and Jokiharju is a good start to the rebuild. Hopefully either Highmore and/or Sikura can add themselves to that list this year. |

That would be great, with either Dahlstrom or Hillman coming up to help the d, added with a healthy Fors and Murph. |

For this season it would be realistic for Forsling and Murphy to contribute.
Next season there are some possibilities on defense; Hillman, Boqvist, Mitchell, Beaudin. |

Ok, sounds good. A bright future of d in front of Crow or whoever. I am excited. |

Why did they trade Hjallmarsson for Murphy? |

assuming rhetorical, but if not, wasn't it another "cost certainty" in an expiring contract situation (a la Panarin)?
StanBo may want to rethink that strategy |

I just can't believe they played like this with Corey's first game back.
There was no effort to get in front of the goalie, none until late in the 3rd period. This team really plays some soft ass hockey some games and tonight was one of them - BetweenTheDots
they aren't built for hard ass hockey... |

They’re a true .500 team - 3 wins 3 losses - that’s who they are - with a good Crawford - win a couple, lose a couple.
It’s what they would have been last year with a quality Crawford all year.
Can the be true .500 or one/two/three wins above and win enough OT games to make the playoffs - that’s the question. - StLBravesFan
well lets first see if they can get a win in regulation so far 0-6...

Q says tonight was the first game that reminded him of last season. #Blackhawks
Yup - pdx2ord
absolutely...
perimeter play...check; costly tunrnovers....check, no net drive or presense...check, soft D...check, no saad...check
only deviation pretty good goalie play by craw for his 1st game in almost 10 months |

Panarin and Hjallmarsson at $14 million or Saad and Murphy at $9.5million? |

Is it the defense or the system?
Over 4+ goals per game average, second worse in the league. |
|

Ya gotta think Knutiz Manning and Ward to some extend were signed to appease Ch Q .So they are most likely immune to benching or Press box duty ,Playing Ward and his .879 SV % every game before Crow came back was absurd . Should have at the very least see what we had in Frosberg for 1 game he earned it . All be it Saad has not been good but so have others .Saad treatment smells the same as most of Stan acquisitions .The disconnect between Q and the front office can not be allowed to continue |

The idiotic “System” is to blame. Insane pinching. Jukiharju so out of position it makes you want to scream. He was deep up ice and the Hawks didn’t have the puck. 2 on 1 - goal against. This is how crazy this defensive “System” is. The D-Men pinch when the Hawks do NOT have possession of the puck. Any defensive system must be defence first with only when it makes sense. |

Duff - how does Kunitz hit the ice immedietly after the giveaway goal? If Saad had done that we might not see him for games. Kane must be losing his mind with Schmaltz simply refusing to shoot. He is still at ZERO goals just like Saad. Also Fortin seems to have no finishing ability whatsoever. Kane coulda/shoulda had 5 points if he was playing with players with a clue. On Kane’s line the LW and C spots have exactly ZERO goals - ZERO! For the Season! Playing with Kane!

Kunitz and Fortin can sit. Kunitz has done nothing so far and while Fortin is fast if he isn’t getting breakaways he is not making anything happen. Too many plays die in the offensive zone on his stick. Manning can sit and let’s see what we have in Davidson before Forsling returns.
Honestly, all 3 of Bowman's "big signings" have been absolutely terrible. Ward has a GAA over 4.00, Manning has had so many defensive lapses lead to goals I've lost track, and Kunitz has been pretty much invisible every single game so far. What a waste of money on these 3. |

77 SATs - only 34 on net - 27 blocked.
Phoenix did a good job mucking up the passing and shooting lanes, especially through the center slot. Hawks could make the cross ice pass to get Raanta moving - and I don’t recall any odd-man’s.
Of course, not many Indianhead’s at the net. - StLBravesFan
At this point Keith’s total inability to get his shot on net has become simply crazy. His shot NEVER hits the net even if he is completely uncovered. It is unbearable. With Schmaltz refusing to shoot and Keith refusing to hit the net the Hawks are very hard to watch.
With respect to 2 on 1s other team’s actually attempt to prevent them unlike Ulf, Q and the Hawks.

Kunitz not invisible tonight. Big primary assist on Yotes’ 3rd goal.
