Either voracek was demoted to the third line or they're trying to get him back with Patrick..

In my military days we used to use a version of Kool-Aid to clean the steel deckplates on the ship. Enough citric acid to break down the grease and leaves no residue. Mmmm

Wow!

Impressive, or scary. I guess it depends on one's perspective.

I feel like if it wasn't a maintenance day they'd have Patrick up on line one

That slap pass to set up simmonds the other night and the give and go last night were glorious.

Passes are crisp, reads are accurate, skating well. Great to see.

Finally AHL ready

At least we don't have too many rookies making dumb rookie plays all over the place and losing us games

I'm not sure he's AHL ready yet he could use a little more seasoning in the ECHL before he's ready for the big boys

Poor team defense coupled with horrible goaltending isn't going to get it done.

I'd this gets to the 10 game mark with this garbage then something needs to change.

While I don't see Hak as the problem typical move is to fire the coach.

Yep because it's the cheapest, quickest available option that requires no thought, only a knee-jerk reflex action.

I don’t buy into this idea that Couturier and Giroux can’t be split up. They’re not Lindros and LeClair. We’re not getting the Couturier of last season. James van Riemsdyk was signed to first line money.

Switching up the top line is not this unheard of thing and I’m losing faith in Hakstol by the week, month and year.

Let's at least give them 15-20 games until we start saying they're not as good as last year.

Hak has kept Giroux & Couturier together for over a year now, so I can't see that change happening.

Also, Patrick hasn't done anything since he start of training camp to suggest he's ready to center the top line.

- Feanor

I dont think what Patrick showed in pre season and 3 regular season games should prevent Hak from trying something to balance the line up. The stacked top line isnt providing enough value for how much its limiting the rest of the line up. They ran into the same issue last year and it resulted in a 10 game losing streak. Hak needs to react quicker this year.

Right now, I am not sure Coots could beat Lehtera in a race from goal line to goal line. Of course, there's the distinct possibility Lehtera doesn't make it that far, but Coots just looks so slow right now...

It's not a demotion until he gets stuck with Lehtera and Weise.

For the Flyers to be a strong team this year they need scoring from 3 lines. Im really not concerned about labels like top line, top 6, third line. Just give me 3 solid combinations with scoring threats on each line.

I can't imagine being a forward for this team. Knowing you probably have to put in 4+ a night to compete is about as mentally and physically grueling as it gets.

The reason they need to do that is because they don't freaking help when the puck goes the other way. Don't give the forwards a pass for the goals against this team is letting up. They are culpable also.

So let me guess. Major trades, scapegoating, and fire the coach! Amirite?
