call up O'Regan

E-Rod-ECHL-O'Regan

get the band back together

- homiedclown

He should be on the 4th line with Erod and Sheary right now

Olofsson-Eichel-Reinhart
Skinner-Mittlestadt-Thompson
Nylander-Berglund-Okposo
Sheary-O'Regan-Erod
Pommer
Sobotka

This is the "actually trying to score a goal" lineup

Right....but it's been 6 games. Im sure there are still some things the organization wants him to work on before they're comfortable giving him an extended shot with the big club (hopefully in good role)
- Sabresfan-365

7 games of 82 or 8.5% of the season of the season before pulling the plug

Bill's with peterman . Started 1 game
1 game of 16 or 6.25% of the season.

A short call-up could serve a few purposes, like pulling a goalie, to get a team to wake up. Calling him up and sitting someone like Thompson, could give him(Thompson) a spark, it could also give Olofsson some real NHL experience, not just pre-season, to see what he needs to work on most, and it could send a message to the tweeners on the roster, if you don't produce you get replaced. A 3 or 4 game call-up could accomplish that if handled correctly. Underlined being key.

This team needs some John Tortorella, Bruce Budreau or the ghost of Herb Brooks. I'd love to see a bag skate as the fans are leaving the building.

I think we are both pro-goal scoring

If we lose a borderline NHLer to waivers, so be it

Dunno but for (frank)s sake, for all the talk of accountability it starts with the Coach. Bag skates are punishment and suffering. If your team lays an egg and the practice is the same as it would have been had you won. Where's the accountability? They sure don't look like they hate to lose so at least they can hate what happens when they do.

Yeah but if we did that how would we still kill off a penalty every once in a while and have important things like jam and truculence

Sobotka has played well.
Good pk and suprising speed.
Has a goal

Thompson on the 2nd line, odd promotion

Maybe malone over oReagan

Sobotka I have no problem with, DOR has shown some offensive upside in the AHL so far all Malone has proven is that he grew up around here

Good call:

Local kid does get bonus points for sure

I read about malone being a future 3/4 nhl center this preseason. I haven't watched enough to have a first hand opinion

I kinda thought oreagan was a throw in.
24 nhl games 1 goal.
Small sample size for sure

They probably would if they had more practice time, they don't get enough as it is.

Used sparingly negative reinforcement can be a good thing, but when it becomes the norm it stops working, same thing with positive reinforcement. That's how you get spoiled little poops.

I've always heard Malone mentioned as a potential 4C. Doesn't sound like there's any offensive upside there, just a high energy grinder. I'm sure some won't like hearing that, but right now, I think we're the easiest team to in the NHL to play against.

Probably, but I think that has more to do with backing into the D-Zone and giving the other team all the space in the world. I think the forecheck has been ok, they've drawn penalties. 2 or 3 just last game.

It's an all around thing. They don't win many board battles, they don't go to the net....they are just generally a soft perimeter team.

Risto can be a real pest when he wants to be. I haven't seen it at all this year.
