I know NJ had been playing really well, but this isn't a team that scares me. Top line heavy and the D and even Kincaid aren't anything to write home about.

However with that said, the Devils always give this team fits so who knows? I'd like see Flyers win a low scoring affair. See if they can't grind out a 3-2 type game. Won't bother me one bit if they score 5 like their 3 wins though 👌

Tends to be their speed that hurts the Flyers. Simple plays and avoid open ice turnovers for them to transition should help negate that.

I hate that the franchise exists in the first place.

I’ve been a huge proponent of Hextall’s rebuild, but, at what point does he get off his hands to try and not waste Giroux and Voracek’s best years? Giroux is 31 in January, Voracek is 29, is it time you use some of the assets he’s stockpiled to improve the team for the now?

If we look at the positions that need upgrading such as defense and goaltending, they've got players like Myers, Morin, and Hart not far away. So should they trade a top asset for that? They're loaded with quality forward prospects.

Flyers aren't playing well to start but still what, 6 games in? No need to overreact at this point.

Gostisbehere/Folin pairing scares me. In order to play Gostisbehere the minutes he commands, they have to play Folin a lot more than I'd like to see. Maybe they'll mix in putting Gostisbehere and Provorov for some shifts. They need to get MacDonald healthy and back playing like he is capable of.

Maybe 7 years without getting out of the first round will be the magic number.
