can stay the entire time Beagle is injured. Beiga was sent down so we are roster compliant when EP comes back

Meh, Gaudette played 7 minutes last night and Green doesn't trust him defensively. When EP gets back, Gaudette isn't going to be in the top 6 anymore. I'd rather him get actual playing time in Utica.

I'm okay with him going back to Utica. he is looking more and more confident on the ice but he could still see more ice time per game in Utica.

I'm a little surprised Leipsic isn't showing better this year unless he thought a roster spot was his to lose.

Thought Motte was just AHL depth and he has been all in with his effort.

Bo started that way also. I don't mind if he stays or if he goes back. It really is a non issue for me.

I don't think he will be sh1tting on the 6 million wonder blunder. Doesn't make his boss look good.

LE looks off. Slower this year something is up.

I think the team is better than what most people think. We had this start last year and right around when Bo got injured is when the losing started , then Tanev and Edler went down. Sutter got injured.

Maybe if we stay healthy we can be a better team.

- VANTEL

Health with definitely be a big deciding factor on how the season goes.

Bo was basically NHL-ready from day 1. Gaudette as much as I like him just isn't there. A year in Utica will help his development huge. But we will have injuries so he will be up/down. Either way we should benefit.

Again, I'm not trying to knock Horvat, he's great, however, on almost every good team he's a third line center. On the Canucks he's even only a second line center. Here's just in our Division...I think he only fits as a second line center in Calgary and Vancouver. A first in AZ lol.

Anaheim - Getzlaf/Kesler
SJ - Thorton/Pavelski/Couture
Calgary - Monahan/Lindholm
Edmonton - McDavid/Draisaitl
Vegas - Karlsson/Marchessault

Loudmouth Brian Burke has said about three notable quotes in his lifetime . His best was I will drive him to the airport but recently he did admit something . The GMs pick the first round guy and then leave the the rest rest of the rounds to the scouts.

These lists mean very little to the team and give people like Craig Buttons and Ryan Biech a very nice living. The GM goes to his scouting staff after round one and that is why you seen Canucks taking so many players off the board.

I know myself I don't go past the top 45 prospects because it seldom turns out to be who you hoped for and they are right a lot more than I am.

I had Candella, Stukel and Mckenzie as late round picks they picked. They didn't work out!

Maybe I can make a living out of finding prospects.

Olli Juolevi leads the Comets blueline with one goal and four assists, giving him five points through eight games as a rookie. His one goal was a power play marker and all of his assists have come with the man advantage as well.

Most later round picks never do work out though. They have been getting better but I always only expect their first round and second round pick to make the NHL . The later round picks that play are just bonus

We're talking canucks right?

I expect their top 10 picks to make the nhl and half of their 11 to 45 picks to make it, the rest is a crap shoot
