It's honestly insane how much better the Sabres are with Nelson in the line up

Sure, that and when the other 22 playets o n ths roster decide to show-up and compete hard.

Now, which team decides to play tonight, the compete hard, or let's dance through this before they get to go home

It's an obvious point, but the loser points are very helpful. Instead of winning handily, and then getting blown out, they need to figure out how to get a point on a night when they aren't playing well

4-2-2 is an extra win over 4-4

I agree, loser points will help them in the playoff race at the end of the season. They need to find a way to be more competitively balanced in those games and I think that will come but it's still very early in the season. Tonight's game is a good example. If they can stay with the Ducks and somehow get a loser point tonight, it not only makes the road trip a success but gets them a valuable point as well.

There are already better contributions to secondary scoring. The Blueline is scoring better than in years.

Others are getting close, but still need a bit of puck luck.

I think the talent is OK, especially if we tinker a bit with some of the Rochester boys. The question is one of confidence. The team has been down for a long time. They’re used to having bad things happen.

I like where the team is, and feel like a relatively sustained period of success will go a long way to hardening the teams resolve in the face of adversity.

Agreed Schultzie. The team has issues no doubt but it is early and hopefully we'll see more bottom 6 scoring but they are much more improved than last year's horror show. Let's hope the November schedule will produce some nice points and stay competitive in the division.

According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, the Cowboys are "monitoring" Kelvin Benjamin ahead of next week's trade deadline.

The Cowboys have also checked in on DeVante Parker and continue to do their "due diligence" on Amari Cooper. Dallas is in desperate need of receiving weapons and it's likely the Cowboys address that issue by adding a pass-catcher at the trade deadline. Hopefully the Cowboys can do a bit better than Benjamin, who has been a non-factor in Buffalo this year. Meanwhile Parker can't even get on the field in Miami.

Just take him, we need nothing for him.

I agree, that's par of the course for the Bills. We will have no O line again next year.

Do you thing we should look at the tape before making any harsh judgments.

Not sure if you are old enough, but some Bills' Teams of the late 60's early 70's were downright putrid. Dennis Shaw years with Hank Bullough and a cast of other mental midgets

So the 29th ranked rushing team is having its way early on.
Cant you just see McDermott's brain with thoughts of taking a DT with that top 5 pick they are tanking for?
