Canuck Army posts? 😂😂😂😂 - CanuckDon
Just saying that the nerds called it, not a SCF per se, but they knew, based on the rosters, that the Knights were a far better team. |

Who was right, Canucks Army bloggers or you? I think we all know the answer to that question already. - 1970vintage
there is no one who thought the GK could be a playoff contending team , sure you can argue that the original roster might be good enough to upset some perennial players , but NO , nobody , CA, included , saw the cup final run for an expansion team. |

They are right 30% of the time. Just like Macewan is a wasted contract spot. But I suppose the nerds got this one right |

Big Mac could still end up being a wasted contract spot, so they haven’t gotten it wrong yet, but likely will. His points in writing the article were all valid though. I mean, 9.5 out of 10 Macewans don’t ever get a sniff of the NHL. |

I think he’s going to be a dynamic offensive dman in the league for a long time. Maybe he ends up on the second pairing if they had the fortune to select another top flight LHD, but he went 7 because the Habs and Coyotes went way off the board. You are probably a Bouchard guy though, another thing you and Don have in common |

he's probably the best defenceman in NCAA and tracks pretty well on the same course as Werenski and GhostBear. That's why people are high on him. People in the know see something along the vein of Duncan Keith to Brian Rafalski.
People see OJ as a Hamhuis ceiling with a like... Jeff Petry reality. |

I wanted, no, expected Zadina. Oh well, super Smurf it is and I have no doubts he will be a great player. |

Don't show them Bouchard's skating against NHLers. He's had a bit of a rough go getting himself around against NHLers. I guess playing with Kris Russell doesn't help much either though.
His puck play has been good but the footwork thing people were concerned about is as prevalent as his detractors would say it is. Something that can be worked on hopefully but footwork/edgework is unpredictable. Some guys can do what Horvat or Tavares did. Some guys end up like Schremp or Barker. |

as a die hard i want it to be so , but, a smaller d-man as the hope of a snake-bitten franchise, does not get me all excited .
People have to realize with the increased speed and potential for more concussions the NHL can in a heartbeat go back to a more clutching and heavier hockey overnight, and use player safety as the reason, so going heavy on shrimps can come back to bite us |
