Actually, I don't play fantasy. I don't really like it.
That play did show Sanheim's offensive ability. He moves to get a decent shooting lane prior to recieving the pass. Gets in a good shooting spot with traffic in front of the net. There's a screen from the guy attempting to block the shot, and there's traffic around the goalie to his right. It's a smart hockey play that show offensive instinct.
If you can't see that, I don't know what to tell you dude. - VladDrag
I know exactly what Sanheim did, he walked the line created a new shooting lane and delayed to get a screen. Pretty standard play even in youth hockey. |

Bill was telling me yesterday on my mention about how bad the PK was and has been and he kind of defended it by saying outside of two games it was good and getting better. I don't see it, but didn't reply. Maybe its just me, but feels like they give up a goal or two per game. - Buzzo
There were times last year when it was decent....and a couple times this year it’s been ok...but the #s don’t lie....it’s under 70%...that’s pathetic. Unless they get this fixed, they will not be a playoff team, which is a shame with the amount of skill the team has.

Not digging Simmonds playing with Coots and G. They need more speed on that line. I'm thinking TK |

He’s on a good stretch....great to see. They really need to be better on the backend. Hopefully some of the young guys can start to contribute more, going forward.

Poor pinch from Sanheim. - VladDrag
Ok, so you do see mistakes made by Sanheim. Again I am not trying to argue who is better, they play different roles. Now if you want to compare players that are more similar then when Myers gets called up it will be better. |

I suspect Hagg has more to offer, but they've pretty much hammered it into his head to play it really safe/physical, and to accept that role.
I don't see him really being talent-limited. The few glimpses we've seen of him jumping into the play, or flinging long stretch passes, kinda suggests he's capable. - Tomahawk
Hagg is routinely up on the play and playing aggressively offensively. it's been far more than just a few glimpses. Hagg has no restrictions on playing his position within the team structure. You're only seeing what you want to see.

The redline back to the net in the Flyers end is really this teams achilles heel. They cant get any speed past the red line and at times when they do they turn the puck over full speed and the other team comes back full speed resulting in the forwards stuck back to deep. Seems also the opposite side defenseman to the puck flows towards the puck carrier and other d man leaving the slot in front of the net open so often. |

I don’t know why Simmer keeps being put out there. The play always dies on his stick.

I was thinking the same thing. Fringe players can’t afford to rake those type of penalties....he’ll be back watching the games from the press box if this continues. |

I am not either dude. Seriously not. I am not arguing who is better Sanheim or Hagg.
My main point during that was that Sanheim made a decent play in the offensive zone. He was able to get a shot from the middle of the ice with a body in the way and traffic in front of the goalie. Kimmo was a king at that. You saying there was no screen is kinda dishonest about that play, and seemed like you were specifically calling out what I’ve said about Hagg. |

They got out skated and out played all period....poor effort on home ice. Av’s are carrying play. |

If the flyers have any chance at beating these teams they need to revert back to their 1-2-2 neutral zone clogger. The aggressive forecheck and pinching is too risky and their too often a step behind getting to the spots and the Avs have clean breaks with numbers.
Flyers just aren’t skilled or fast enough for a team like the Avs. Getting boat raced again and this time getting great goaltending to keep them in it which no one will talk about when they lose 4-1 |

if by stronger on the puck you mean not just stand there and watch then yes, yes he does - Mordecai
On the PPGA? Guys that's Provorov, not Hagg. Our future Norris trophy winning defenseman. I hope to you know who he is banged up because that's horrible. He was a spectator at the net and did nothing but lets blame the coaches.
