Is that really a need for the Avs. If anything they should be adding to their defense.
Would anyone move Myers in a deal for Nylander? I'm assuming Ghost, Provy and Sanhiem all have to be off limits on our backend. - hereticpride
I would consider it but the problem is that it would take more. What's the more?

This is what bothers me the most. Just no heart or hustle, or jam. I don't mind losing when effort is there. Can't stand this poop product on ice. Coach or leadership group? Not sure who I blame more. - cdearth23
For me, leadership group but we know who normally pays the price.

Not sure if Nylander fits Colorado, but Barrie is being shopped. |

What we can easily see is that the Flyers and development plan and Hakstol's handling of Sanheim is clearly showing signs of paying off. - MJL

I’m not making any moves for this team this year except to unload if they’re out of it. It’s still early to do any tuning to the young core...it’s not like we’re overly stocked with young D or forward talent...they need to come up and prove it then we can fine tune. |

The player always deserves most of the credit but let's not give Hakstol any credit. It doesn't fit the narrative.

if there is a trade that presents itself that you would make even if the team is undefeated, you make it. Not a reactionary deal because of what's happening now.

I wouldn't, I am on the No Nylander side. He is a nice complimentary piece, but not a star on his own. Maybe a young, but not as good Voracek. The way this team is playing they need all the defensemen they can get. |

When trading....try to imagine the deal as a whole and then execute accordingly |

I would take calls for Simmonds and Voracek. I wouldn't trade them for the sake of trading them or to make a statement to the locker room but to get quality young players. Who these players are I don't know.
The flyers for years and multiple coaches have not played 60 minutes in any consistent way.
Firing Hak isn't the answer at the start of the season. Just hoping the team can pull it together.
My wife has been asking what game I want to go to and I keep, saying save your money it's not worth it. I never would have thought to pass up going to a game.

I loved Bednar as a coach in Lake Erie. I think Columbus was upset they lost him. He has been fantastic. |

He's well enough to play but I think there is some kind of physical issue, he just doesn't seem as sharp, as if something is bothering him.

I had partial season tickets the year they signed Vinny. They lost the first 5 games I went to and like 9 of the 12 total. So yeah, I happily watch at home now. |

Brian Elliott interview very interesting....
Always comes back to structure and working for each other/together.
NOT "We played well, but just didn't get the breaks". Like a broken record. |
