agree...and your other point about jake
Giroux deserves a ton of credit for getting back on that 2 on 1, but Sanheim shut Taylor Hall the (frank) down on that play. Sanheim has played 3 very strong games in a row and he along with Gudas has been the best pair for almost 2 weeks now - YuenglingJagr
No reason to increase his time, tho. |

Who'd have thought that Gudas was money in the bank, and Provorov would be the Jekyll and Hyde guy. |

My favorite part of the game vs NJ was Giroux’s backchecking.
Sets a good tone for the rest of the team and led to some transition offense and a goal on one sequence. - Marc D
Yes it was a topic of conversation during stoppages with the people in my row of the arena. Very good to see it. |

The pk will be bad as long as it’s working in front of mediocre goalies. Even the best PK units need their goalies to make a clutch save now and then. Good luck with that on most nights. - BiggE
So true, I actually think they are playing better but ZERO big saves. The talent level has been going up for a while now I’m the NHL, more players can make plays and score, you need timely goal tending.
I am hoping Elliot can work his way back. If not, our only option is to shoot Nuevybwitj steroids and let him play. |

He'd getting the Sanheim treatment. Let him sit in the press box to develop his popcorn-fetching skills before being demoted back to the AHL. |

Missed the Devils game, have seen some of the tape. Good team game to build on! I really liked that Laughton, Patrick, Voracek line. The speed up the wings is beautiful, and Patrick looks more like himself. I hope it all comes together for him this season.
Looking for another W tonight. Would really like it if none of our d-men have sudden unexpected falls to the ice tonight. If this is going to be a thing this season, they need to set up a fundraiser to make the fall victims donate to charity so we can find a way to laugh and have some positive out of it. |

If the Flyers consistently play defensively as they did against NJ, Elliott will be fine.

If he was a regular on the crack PK unit maybe that would have helped keep him in the lineup. |

Bob, Boosh, Razor and even Leighton in the 09-11 years all played better than Elliott or Pickard are playing now. So far this season, the Flyers are doing a much better job of pressuring the pp before they set up and, for the most part, they are defending better in the D zone. Sure, there have been some breakdowns but the goaltending is killing them.
