There were some good things. Goldy looks good, just having trouble finishing, but that pass to Boeser in the slot (that hopped over his stick) was nice, couple plays around the net etc.

Boeser looks to be getting back to form.

Everyone's game was mediocre at best. No idea why he called him out. Said he didnt like his game tonight. Said they took too many penalties. Praised the caps as the Stanley cup champs for a reason. Basically spewed a bunch of bullpoop

I thought the defense as a whole were bloody crap, Stecher made 4 head scratching plays in the first period alone, not only him though. Pouliot’s decision making and passes were bad. No one on the back end could execute a breakout pass

Except Tanev. There were a few times where he was being pressured by two forecheckers and still managed to get the puck to a Canuck in the neutral zone.

It’s going to be fun, and ironic, when Lefty is happy because the team is loosing but Boeser is playing well and Leaper is miserable because Pettersson is playing well but the team is losing.

There isnt a single D capable of making good breakout passes, and it truly is a bad game by the D when stecher and pouliot looked worse than gudbranson. He didnt actually play half bad. Vrana and burakovsky burned by him on the outside a couple times each but he didnt play as bad as stecher

Did not like that tripping penalty he took in the 3rd. Dangerous play taking a guys skate out like that.
