There isnt a single D capable of making good breakout passes, and it truly is a bad game by the D when stecher and pouliot looked worse than gudbranson. He didnt actually play half bad. Vrana and burakovsky burned by him on the outside a couple times each but he didnt play as bad as stecher

It’s going to be fun, and ironic, when Lefty is happy because the team is loosing but Boeser is playing well and Leaper is miserable because Pettersson is playing well but the team is losing.

I never cheer for them to lose, every game I watch I want them to win, however, I understand that having a bad season in the standings will make things better in the future, at least that's the hope.

it just makes me think of beer league. Where a "good" game for your worst player, who is probably a nice guy, is when he remembered what position he was supposed to be in half the time and he made one or two passes on the tape.

I didn’t say you hope they lose, I said you would be happy(at the end of a game) if Boeser (or Pettersson) played well and the lost. Whereas some fans are miserable when the team loses no matter what was good.

If that's his job then you have to wonder why the team keeps bringing guys in whose top attribute is "good in the room"

How many "good in the room" guys do they need until they target "good on the ice" players from other teams?

Small victories, it's all we can ask for this year. We've already started much better than I would've expected. Caps are a top5, effort is not going to be enough for 82 games in this league, eventually the lack of talent/depth will catch up with us.

That's what I figured. I've been catching the games in variably sized pieces over the last week or so. I wasn't sure if I missed like a heckin' good period from him or a dynamite shift.

So they didnt play a very good game. Gave up too many penalties. Just too many errors. Team isnt going to play good every game.

i didn't think they played too bad really. obviously could have been better but the first 2 periods were pretty close. pk was a big difference. those 3rd period calls were pretty soft. ovechkin was great.

i get why green was upset at goldobin. kid sulked through the 2nd half of the game and was really ineffective away from the puck. made some very lazy plays in that regard. he's come a long way and after green gave him props last time, he probably expects more from him now and is likely more disappointed than anything. made some great plays though.

gaudette is trying to play the complete game. i see him getting more confident each game. i thought that line was pretty good. could use some points from them though.
