Carol Schram: Pettersson practices, Boeser is injured ahead of Canucks' 2-game dads' trip The Vancouver Canucks were without injured Brock Boeser as Elias Pettersson returned to the practice lineup on Tuesday at Rogers Arena. Forward Darren Archibald has been recalled from the Utica Comets as the players and their dads are hitting the road for back-to-back games in Vegas and Arizona.

Gudbranson definitely played better than stecher and DP last night. Im glad to see stecher scratched. 44 and 4 paired together are statistically one of the worst D pairs in the entire league though. Green also demoting goldy is laughable.

Anyway, were already off to a much better start than I would have thought. In a lot of ways, the first ten games should be seen as a win for this team. Where will we go from here... well down seems likely. Our d haven't even started getting injured yet

But as I have stated in the past, I'm not sold on Green as an NHL coach quite yet, and some of this favouritism stuff is beyond comprehension.

It's a mistake many rookie coaches make. They don't allow players to work through their issues. 1st bad game and BAM!! 4th line duties. Goldy to me has looked like he has turned a bit of a corner and now Green will delay that a touch. Gonna be interesting to see where this all goes lol.

No, because he didn’t mean to single him out. He said “I should have said OK, instead of bad” basically saying it’s the media’s fault for making more of the situation than it is. Goldy “lost a couple puck battles” but he’s “fine”. They guys on the radio are suggesting Goldy as the extra skater doesn’t mean that much, it’s just a practice.

I dont think toronto feels the same when marner is on the ice. Or the flames with gaudreau, or bruins with krug. Too much is made of petterssons weight. Hes listed as being 3 lbs less than LE. One throw down and people jump back on the weight thing. 8 points in 5 games man. Hes going to be fine.
