I would pay good money to hear RJ go off like that again. And I know, as an old man, that RJ is doing his damnedest to hang around for one last chance for a call like that one.

Right now, we should all be the security guard in the background.
Every one of us should be unfolding our hands, realizing something big is about to happen, and stepping forward into the light so we can watch the magic unfold.
Raise your hands in the air - let yourself smile and celebrate. HOW DO YOU DO???
He took responsibility for the entire team...in front of cameras. The guy has orchestrated his way off two teams in his career. He plays well when the cameras are on with his aww shucks routine.
Based upon the way he left Colorado, the media campaign his father went on pushing the great leader false narrative and that he could be THE guy on a team, and then his speech last year in the exit interviews, I just see it differently.
In a post game interview, it’s his fault. In all other things, he’s a victim. His stats are always decent, but he’s not what he sells himself to be.
Third team now, same scenario happening again. Of course it’s not his fault.
It never is.
We see things differently, and that’s fine. My decision here is being made of a limited sample of what I see in the media, old articles from Colorado that I read, etc.
But there is at least one of these types of people every place you go.
I agree on Lehner, very negative and we saw why turns out later. But that doens’t change the same thing happening on two different teams for ROR. The Factor, is the common factor here.
The Blues can turn this around, though for the sake of draft pick, I hope they don’t. - gcomella34
He’s got more points than Tarasenko & you’re trying to say he’s the problem in StL?

Agreed. And yes I was joking but there seems to be issues with the Blues, whether it is coaching, goaltending or vet leadership, who knows. They went big in the off season with trading for ROR and signing Bozak and Perron. Gotta think the coach is on the hot seat because they appear to have a nice roster. And poor Chad Johnson, a 4.04 and .857. - mhp
I’ve read some stuff from Blues fans that think they are too slow......
I've fallen asleep the last 3 games I've tried to watch by the end of the first. I don't mind waking up to a W and watching highlights.
I watched an Okposo interview where I heard him saying they are bringing their lunch pal to work and just playing a boring style but their talent will shine through. I bet Housley just writes K.I.S.S on the board before every game.
Dahlin is better than Eichel
First round of long islands on me, what do you say fitz? - washedup20

I think when Hutton signed here, some Blues fans said they wish they kept him. I want to see Ullmark get more starts. - mhp
Agreed. I was a bit perturbed that during the road trip he had a shutout and didn't get the next start. Then had a light game against LA (where he allowed only 1 goal) and didn't get the start the next night either.
I get that at this point he's still the backup, but at what point do you ride the hot hand? Hutton played lights out for a few games to start the season but has looked a bit average recently.

I know it wont be well received but.... Why is Ullmark in Buffalo?
If hes going to be getting Enroth starts send him down and get games in. I thought it would be more even in starts especially with 1 GA in 2 games.
I'll hit spell check then hang up and listen.

Just my $.02. - HonkFortheGoose
Agree, after last night I def think Ullmark gets the next start

I hope he gets the next start cause Hutton has been average since we hung him out to dry in the Colorado game. If Ullmark plays and we win they better start him again in Calgary.

When that line stops producing then move Okposo on to that line. As long as Housley keeps the pair of Skinner and Eichel together we’ll be alright. - Pegullaville
I dont , im kinda over him and want him gone
Id prefer a similar skill set to Pommer go in, why not try Berglund? Circle back to Sherry up there, maybe give Gus one last shot at being a quality NHL player.

Lets be honest all the goals last night were kinda softies. I hope Ullmark plays well and we run with him.

Let's see how we play against the elites of the league. Wins uh-gainst the Leafs, B's, TB, Preds and Pitt will go a long way in determining if this team is playoff bound or not. - mhp
This team can beat bad teams. That's the step I expected this year. I don't expect them to have a winning record against playoff teams, but if they can handle their business vs average and below average teams, I would say that is a massive step toward relevance.

We were 7-3 against the likes of Tampa, Toronto, and Boston combined in the last 10 games we played those respective teams and finished 31st place. Any team can win on any given night and they all look the same on the scoresheet. Just gotta win the games.

and how many of those games were vs backups? 8/10 would be my bet
