I agree that LA was a very talented team and Quick was a great goaltender. Best hockey I've ever seen, and I'm still bitter about the defeat.
You only talk about Playoff Crow, not regular season. Crow had shakey Playoff games as well as lights out Playoff games.

Crow is one of the best, but looking at regular season games really helps one see the up and down play of Crow. Normally, in the Playoff years, towards the end of the season is where the hawks string together a lot of losses, and Crow got pulled in several of them, and then come into the Playoffs kicking ass.

Given trending higher SOG's against over the last three years and the lousy team play in front of him he had to stand on his head just give them a chance.

No top goalie goes through a a playoff cup run without a tough game or 2. No player or team does for that matter. Craw would have a tough game or 2 and then bounce back with big after after game. That is a fact in his 80 plus playoff games.

I would have to agree with you bogiedoc! Quick IMHO is overrated but you can be overrated and still be very good. He is just not consistent enough especially in big games. Yes his high end is awesome, maybe because of his "gumby" like and freakish flexibility. I would take Crawford over him in a NY minute!

because they both won 2 cups they are 1-2 in top goalies over the last 6 - 7 years. i give the edge to craw for number 1. no other goalie has shown the consistancy, played more big games and won; and carried his team like crawford.

Goalies are like closers in baseball - the best are great for a while - then the slider flattens out and they become eminently hittable.

Quick, Renne, Price, Lundqvist, Bob - considered best in the league for a year or two - then the skates can’t get to the opposite post and the five-hole widens a bit....

I will not get into a debate with you about crimes committed by aliens, documented or not - altho the facts I’ve seen show that undocumented aliens commit fewer crimes proportionately than American citizens. I cannot document any of my sources for those facts now - and I’m not going to investigate.

As far as Sayoc being an Indian - the Seminole Tribe has found no evidence that he was a member of the Tribe, or was an employee of its casino under any of the names he used.

And to the numerical certainty about the thousands head this way - the numbers are down to less then half of the original 7,000 - and will continues to diminish as they move on (if they do). There is no evidence of people from other countries within the group or other lies told by Trump and his sycophants about them.

EDIT TO ADD: some fact checking shows me that Sayoc is apparently of Filipino background, born in Brooklyn of immigrant parents.
