Its been done to death I guess, but its time to open the negotiation with Skinny's people.

His celly on Okposo's winner was as enthusiastic and anybody's. He's a part of this team already, and he's bought in to the future here. Botts should capitalize on that for a long time going forward.

Feels good to be a Sabres fan again. Felt kind of dirty over the past few years, particularly the "McEichel" tank year when most of us were cheering for Arizona to beat the Sabres at home in late March. It sure feels weird to think that your team has a chance to actually come back and win a game that they are behind in.

I agree.

It is a positive for this team that a guy like Scandella can have a very bad night, and it doesn't sink the team. That's true also of Hutton, whose play could probably be described as average and occasionally pedestrian. Eichel didn't have a point.

It refreshing to be able to say a sentence like "Jake McCabe was the best Sabre last night," and it's not a slight against the team. He was really good!

It's not just two guys leading the way, the way it was in the past.

Forget who posted it but they got Pommer about 16m of ice time, down for 20+, so he may last a little bit longer.

No worries, though, Samson has been ignited, he'll be taking Pommer's place in the next 8-10 games.
