Agreed kinda sucks, but not a big deal IMO. I think a day to watch from above has value as well. Granlund started off OK but has been fading, I think he's the new bubble guy.

I think trading two foundational pieces is a better move.

Poor Bo, has to play with one guy who can't stay on his feet, in Leipsic, and another who is invisible.

The oddest part about this is during pre season TG himself said something as that Leipsic and Bo can't play together because they are both players that carry the puck. Bo isn't the best defensively. He should have two wingers that are better in their own zone to get the puck to him for him to move it out.

I personally would have rather seen Granlund take Leipsic's spot and Gaudette play 4LC. Gaudette is a better center then Granlund. Granlund is a better winger then Leipsic.

I have thought really hard about Edler. I like what he brings defensively and that is where it ends. You will probably pay between 5 to 6 mil for him and even though he is a minute muncher he is not worth that. If you could get him for 4 mil okay but that is very unlikely.

You still do have Tanev signed beyond next year . I think I would rather throw 11 mil towards Karlsson instead of spending on Edler .

Vancouver isn't in cap troubles and probably won't be unless JB signs more LE's over the next 2-3 years. As you always say they have 30 million in cap space for next season. With a lot of ELC coming in as well.

Having Karlsson Tanev Stecher as the RHD would balance out
