Why would you think he'd only score 15? He's never scored less than 17, and his others were 23 and 25, and so far this year he's on the same pace he's been on in his career goals wise. He's never scored more than 2 goals in the first 10 games and only once did he do that, the other 2 years were both 1 goal in the first 10 games.

It boils down to speed for me. We still need faster wingers. I'm fine if the Sabres keep him, and I'm fine if they move him for someone faster.

I think his slowness was highlighted with the additions of Sheary and Skinner, combined with Reinhart no longer playing with ROR who at times made Reinhart look fast comparatively

Having 2 roster players for him playing well, not to mention Thompson who is still very much a prospect and a 1st, I still really like that deal.

Agreed. I think they are keeping Thompson up right now because they don't want to change the lineup. Maybe he gets a few games when an injury forces a change. You don't make a true call up until you're prepared to play them regularly.
