Typical Canucks fan reaction. Can't let go.

I am not admitting anything . I think bringing back the same sh1t next year will not make the team any better.
Edler as the Primary Dman means this team will suck again next year. He is brain dead
when he is playing O.
Him as a secondary Dman is different but we are not looking at 5 per or anything past 2 years. |

It's the same as it was with the Sedin's: there's no one to take over. Were seeing the lack of depth up front without them. There's no question in my mind the Canucks would be a better team with them right now. But, we have to get worse before we get better. Part of that means letting kids struggle and learn to be conisitent pros. The big difference is Defence at the NHL level is much harder sand takes longer to learn. Im fine with trading one of them, but it's not making the team better, let's get real. |

The conversation is about trading Edler and re-signing him in the summer because he is way better then Hutton. |

Let's see how close Pettersson comes to replacing the Sedins numbers this year.

Keep hearing 6 weeks for Edler (knee) but time will tell. #Canucks |

“I’m very happy with how things have (gone),” Juolevi said following Tuesday’s practice. “Every game I’ve been better and more comfortable with the system they want to play. Obviously, I’m getting to know the guys more ... and how they play. I think it has been good.”
Juolevi, who said he feels fine after minor back surgery in June, has stepped in and shown poise while playing key minutes for Utica. He’s formed a solid top pairing with second-year defenseman Jalen Chatfield, has gotten penalty kill experience and has a lead role on the team’s power play unit – which ranks third-best at 31.4 percent entering Tuesday.
“I think Olli has done a really good job,” Comets coach Trent Cull said. “For a young guy, he’s played a lot of minutes for us, and he’s done some really good things. To show that he can be very much a good player for us at this level — this quickly — it is really boding well for his confidence.” |

I just don't think it is something you can repeat with different/new people.
It's not like the British to regurgitate something previously done. Unusual. |

Not trying to interfere with you and minivans banter, just curious as to who you have in mind?
I don't see many options on the market that may be better or younger than Edler.
I also want change, not sure I want to throw 4 or 5 really young defenseman, out to the wolves though. |

Idle and Cleese were pretty darn good together, doubt very much, they could get anyone to come close to being nearly as classic as they were.

All five of them were freaking brilliant!!
Me and a buddy went out as 'Gumbies' for Halloween as kids. |

The obvious big fish is Karlsson . Canucks would need to be the highest bid to convince him to come here , but I would take the chance.
To replace what Edler is currently bringing I would target Benn who you could sign for 3 years at 2 mil
Jake Gardner is younger and has more of a scoring upside.
This is why I want to see what Hutton brings in the next few weeks. |

They were outrageous and funny as hell . I would need to see it first but rule of thumb it usually doesn't work. |
