i think we would have been a bubble team with them. Just my opinion, assuming EP does well and everything else. Our PP is not as good without them. They would hav been a good second line with EP IMO. But I'm happy not being a bubble team, we took the tank up a notch this year!

PP is down 1.4 (which EP and BB have been injuried) PK is up 5.4
Shots for down 4.6. Shots against the same.

They are giving them a beating across the board, but I agree you have to know if you charge the net you're going to get it.

Yeah because one player has been playing top 4 for his entire career vs a guy who has played for a bunch of team because he's a simple 3rd pairing player.

Just look at the difference in stats. First pairing minutes vs 3rd pairing minutes. Of course he is paid more. He's WAY (frank)EN BETTER

You don't get it at all. You want to pay his next contract on what he has done in the past and not what he is projected to do in the next three years.

I have no problem with what has been paid in years past. He will not be a 40 pt player in the next few years seeing he won't be playing PP1 , he will become slower, he will probably miss more games. Defensive players do not get paid 5 mil.

You laugh at Benn but he is steering the ship on the D with Joulsen Mete Alzner and Petty , while he is making 1.1 mil so don't give me the crap that he doesn't know how to play D. I would put Montreals D ahead of ours .
