seasoning should happen while the food is being prepared. if you need to add goop to something to make it edible then its clearly inedible trash and you're a peasant using the food as a vehicle to eat the goop.

They certainly look out-of-sorts don't they! Complete lack of cohesiveness there. Rookie coaches never seem to find their stride the first time in the league. I think they went through the same thing last year?

When Hextall's draft table work comes to fruition, in four or five years, hopefully they become good again. Having inherited the majority of the current good players on the team (Giroux, Voracek, Couturier, Simmonds, Gostibehere, Laughton, Hagg) his mandate was to build a prospect system, something Philly never really had to do, and not spend the future to help the present, which he's never deviated from.

He is genius for following his mandate...Benning is an idiot for following his, yet both have done the 1 thing both organizations needed to do, restocķ the prospects.

Eating butter will make me gag. I haven't had butter on a sandwich in over 58 years.

Mayo I haven't had in close to 40 years .

Philly is 5 years away....?

The list of good players will be old and wasted by then. All will have left or retired by the time they're relevant again.

It's interesting that you believe the Canucks will be relevant before the flyers. 3 years vs 5 years.

I don;t use butter at all , we don't even have any in the house. I know things are cooked in butter in restaurants I always request no butter. We cook with olive oil and we don't do a lot of frying

spinach > lettuce

cucumber on a burger or sandwich in place of lettuce is an upgrade by infinity

Benning doesn't have a mandate or a plan, he just throws poop against the wall to see what sticks. Therein lies the major difference.

In the same timeframe Hextall has added an two extra first round picks and two extra second round picks, compared to Benning, and they aren't rebuilding like the Canucks are.

everything but the soup sounds good

tonight sliced some chicken tits in half, dipped them in olive oil, then into a mix of flour, garlic bread crumbs, and shredded mozza. pan fried, then served on a bed of grilled zucchini. himalayan salt and fresh black pepper. baked some yellow potato wedges in some olive oil and whatever mixture of spices i had on the rack.

benning wanted to do what hextall has done. rebuild while being competitive nightly.

the canucks got most of their top draft picks by faceplanting into last place and then last year finally were like "okay maybe we actually are rebuilding and not retooling".

cooking used to be difficult until you make a few things and then realize that you can just do whatever to whatever and it generally turns out.
