I don't see it as mainly a coaching issue. Certainly he bears some responsibility because coaching is a results oriented business. The issue is he is getting most of the blame. A simple review of film and video shows fundamental mistake after fundamental mistake by the players on the ice. Simple things like stick position, and not rotating properly in lanes, etc. I'm sure that the coaches are reviewing film with the players to point this out, and drilling the players to try and correct the issues but it's clearly not happening. I'm not against relieving him of his duties because obviously the PK is in the toilet and has been for quite a while but I see the main issue as player execution as well as a major confidence issue for all but a few players.

Somewhere the message is not getting through to the players. It’s not like this hasn’t been a horrible pk going on what 2 years ? 3 years ? It’s asinine to not point to the obvious common denominator.....players have changed....coaching has not.
