Schaller - Horvat - Leipsic

- classic321

lol I'm actually curious to see how this line works as I might be seeing what Green is trying to do here. Leipsic's speed should create some space for Horvat while Schaller with the big body runs interference. Should work no?

Grazie Carol, buon lavoro.

My best posts are always in the last blog, after the update

Bold prediction of the day (night) - Schaller scores 29 goals this season. Think about it, scratched the first two games, finally gets in the lineup and works his way up to Bo’s line. Sound like anyone else we know?

Leipsic is not a good hockey player and Schaller isn't one either.

Schaller is a good hockey player, Leipsic is fast, I can see what Green is hoping for.

I think Lordy is probably right with his assessment.

Leipsic is a WHLer who finds himself in the NHL. Schaller is a 4th liner.

Luckily its only the Wild that line is going to go up against.

Suprising that the 27 year old depth player couldn't handle top line minutes.

I was pretty optimistic about him training with that stick handling guru.

But yeah this season, he can't get the puck out of his own zone.
His IQ is just sooo low.

I would probably say AHL, but whatever. I also agree about Schaller being a forth line player, it is just Green trying anything to create wins.

And the Wild will probably skate circles around Pouliot, Del Zotto and Biega, Stecher will pinch in and get burned.

He isn't a power forward. When was the last time he took ice from a player instead of just taking what was given on a rush and ended up behind the net?

There was that rush in Carolina where he HAD A LANE TO THE NET and instead just fired it into the goalie's chest. And then I think it was the Boston game where he had the lane, wide open, again but just rifled a clapper from the top of the circle along the boards.

He still has all the same habits as a junior hockey player. Dude has no pro structure to his game or how he contributes to the plays on offence or defence. If speed isn't the answer, he can't do anything else.

Sounds like a poor man’s version of the Oilers failed Lucic-McJesus-random tweener experiment

I'm really surprised he gets the ice time that he does.

His turnovers are just so blatant. Like passing the puck to no one in the slot, or trying to stick handle through malkin.
