We're the only team sitting near the top of a division with a negative goal differential. That's what i'm saying. No need to be a continual troll. Do you think we are where we should be? Or are we a paper tiger as our goal differential shows us to be?
- Pres.cup

Usually I just ignore you but for this one I will bite.

With the injuries , this teams D and goal tending, and brutal schedule I am surprised there are not 15 more goals added to those numbers.

Thinking that this team is a top team is stupid. Listen to your own trolling , we are 13 games in. We are not a playoff team.

Try enjoying the moment and enjoy when they play good.

Stop your fuken whining about Beagel Roussel and Schaller and give our ears a rest.

It’s been up and down without Edler and Tanev: growing pains or reality?

I think losing Sutter is going to be a big burden. Bo will be asked to do more, and it’s going to wear him down faster — plus just having Gaunce (?) back up.

- NewYorkNuck

Big winning streak coming if Gaunce gets into the lineup. The only downside or reason he doesn't get a call up is that he'll prove Bennings idiocy for having paid 4 times as much plus term for an inferior player.

Archiebald has been called up. That makes sense.

I've said it a few times already, I don't mind these injuries at all. It will let us know what we look like if we make moves at TDL. Probably the best thing that could happen to the team.

It is the same players year after year getting injured for long periods of time , so it would be nice to get away from them if we can. Let's see who steps up.

- VANTEL

For sure. We need to know what we have minus those injury-prone vets. It's a good thing actually.

Very possible. Beagle out as well sure sucks too. But...opportunity for the kids to step up and they sure did last night. Now we won't see that every game of course but it was great to see.

It is almost a like a get out of jail free card. This year everyone expects Canucks to lose so they can try different things.

Oh definitely. Still a lot of hysteria being bantered around, still was a lot of hate for Green.

Green is learning. I like parts, i dislike just as many parts. Does good and bad.

Ya, I would have to think there’s a learning curve to the NHL for any coach. Just don’t get the constant hate, he’s not as terrible as people make him out to be. All coaches have favourites and inexplicably ride certain guys, as most blogs/posters on this site will complain about. 🙂

You reference me in 50 percent of your posts, if that is ignoring it's scary to think what engaging me would look like.

I am enjoying the kids but we're very lucky not good.

As a person who has criticized Stecher, on several occasions, I thought he had a pretty good game last night, even Pouliot had a nice bounce back game, after some glaring giveaways, the last 3 games.
The Canucks need to keep playing the heck out of these guys and see who and what they have moving forward.

Ive always had a weird theory that after 240 nhl games for a Dman, you will know what they will be. Hutton closing in on 240 is showing consistency this year. DP is doing almost the same as Hutton previous with the ups and downs in his game.

The Columbus Blue Jackets, who are 3rd in there division, are at -2, goal differential.
Like most here, I am enjoying watching the games these days, whether we win or lose.
My expectations for this team are still low and fully expect them to be a bottom-feeder.
The ups and downs this team will endure over the next couple seasons, is what is expected during a rebuild.

I dont constantly rag on him but he's an NHL, youve got to be prepared.

I subscribe to the same theory, although, it has been a theory for decades, that D-Men are what they are, after 300 games.

Seems weird to me because pairings, linemates, usage, structure, coaches will all play a factor. I think its more for whether a player shows potential to be a top 4 defender regularly.

if he wins anything, it is only because of Pettersson. He is the only reason that Benning might be back for 1 more year as well.

We're tied for first.... third isn't at the top of the division.... but semantics aside you're correct, depth will sink us, pun fully intended, but the kids should play and entertain us with a portal into the future.

You are the one that said, near the top of a division.

It is okay to admit to being wrong.

I've had a two month ban. That's a man strength ban....
But yes, semantically i'm wrong. May my family not know my deep and lingering shame.
