To be fair....there was alot of PK duty for Girgs last night.....you can thank the inept refs for that

It's kind of a perfect formula for them - they don't score, so there wont be many opportunities for them to blow the lead at the end when they're supposedly at their best defending leads

If you play Larsson for 17 minutes, you deserve to score one goal and probably lose

-Now they're playing 16-17

Then it was we need them for the penalty kill

-ranked 15, firmly mediocre

Then it was we need them to close out games

They're playing as much as a bona fide top 6 winger in Reinhart, and all they do is thrash around. They are not a 4th line based on usage, and they haven't mustered a goal with the goalie in the net.

They're basically the worst 2nd line ever

Girgs is outplaying them. He is bringing more to the table shift in and shift out.

Their ice time is definitely too high. It's still nowhere near the top of the list of things that need to be addressed. Until the other two lines start producing, it won't matter how much or little that line plays, or even how well or poorly it plays.

yeah.. the kids got balls. i see him more and more looking like his ready to make that goal line to goal line rush.. he is getting more comfortable back there

Again, the fact that you are singling them out when they are producing the EXACT SAME at 5 on 5 as - Sobotka, Berglund, Sheary, Reinhart, Thompson, and Mittelstadt, with the exception of the fact that they are getting heavy D zone work is utter insanity.

First it’s they need to score, then it’s they can’t prevent a double deflection goal.

Like I said before, they could score goals and you’d find something else about them
