Last night was one of his better proformances and yet he gets 10:42 TOI, Eriksson I can understand the low ice time. But Virtanen is always low man, even when he plays well.

I have to say, Petterson has me more excited about the future than any player since I have been a fan of the Canucks. I watched highlights of him after every game that they played last year in Vaxho....and was touting him far before most around here, but even I have been surprised at just how great he looks (and yes, I own him in my dynasty league and will for the next 15 years).

I know I should temper my expectations....but it’s tough. I told a friend today:

‘I have this funny feeling that 20 years from now, people are going to be saying ‘McDavid? Or Petterson?’’

It sounds ridiculous to say, but I think he will far exceed MacKinnon, Mathews, Eichel, Rantanen, Marner and the like. Just amazing. I hope he is what I think he is. 👍🏻
