Girgs +/- = Zero
Risto -10
Sam -7
Ouch.
Let's blame 28 and 22 - Boss34
When you play 28 and 22 for 17 minutes, and give them more time 5-on-5 than Mitts and Reinhart, you get what you deserve. And what you deserve is a 2-1 loss
If you are happy with giving that line 2nd line time, then this must be a great time for you

Nice write up
Most fun month of hockey in a long time. Pominville is Mr. October once again - jcragcrumple

Girgensons is an All-Star. - buffalofan19
Girgensons had a gaffe, Sobotka looked as if he was cheating on the play |

No surprise ending to that one last night. Anyone could see that if Hutton didn't completely slam the door the Flames were coming back.
Anyone else notice how easily the Sabres gave up their blue line throughout the game?
Yes, the flames have some speed but the Sabres D had no D-zone gap control...maybe because the forwards weren't getting back to support the D...because Calgary's D were pretty solid transitioning in the Neutral zone. - notalent
any correlation between that and McCabe being out?

I'm continuing to support:
They are not the problems
Why cant the 2nd overall pick outplay them?
Then he would get more playing time?
6-4-2
Great to win
Great to be in a playoff spot
I couldn't stand Larsson either. Guys playing pretty good.
Meeting the low expectations
Other are not meeting expectations
Mitts was a Calder favorite
Sam has 1 goal
Risto -10
Okposo- stupid penalties and 3 goals
Sheary- no eichel/ no production
Tage- short jersey/ short on talent / 1 point
Berglund- 1 goal
Phil- not using dahiln in ot
But its 22 and 28
Girgs on 20 point pace.

Seriously, I wanted Larsson waived. I’m no fan of his whatsoever
He’s not in the top 10 of things to be improved with this team right now |

Team has a clear top line, and 3 3rd lines. All 3 played pretty evenly last night. None of them have played well enough to be a true 2nd line. Larsson's line is filling the void. Blame the other guys, not them. |

I'm sorry but Larsson is quite possibly the worst professional hockey player I have ever witnessed play the game. A combination of attitude, skill, production... I'd take an entire line of Adam Mair's and Matt Ellis's over 1 shift of this pile of crap. He's trash. |

Useage wise, that line is playing more. They don't score. They are literally to blame |

To start.
Not trade AJ.
Not put all your eggs in Nate Peterman basket
Sign a vet right after game one.
Not have Nate Peterman on your roster because you like him and y'all both are christian boys and you are a S)*&^ coach. - ImThatGuy
As horrific as it is, until Allen is healthy they need someone who at least knows the playbook. If once Allen is healthy, or Barkley gets up to speed, and Peterman is still here then that's totally unacceptable. It's unacceptable they kept him at all and didn't trade McCarron or at least sign Anderson right after they did so they could carry a 47th defensive lineman because it was going to be "hot", but what's done is done, let's move forward. |

This really has nothing to do with Larsson. His line is playing better than Mittelstadt's or Sobotka's.
Phil's tried a lot of combo's, but he hasn't found a respectable 2nd line. Worse, most of those combos are atrocious defensively. Again, that has nothing to do with Larsson. |

Allen is not coming back this year and if he miraculously does, it will be well after the Bills are out of it if they aren't already. He didn't have a strain or sprain, it was a tear that either will be or already was repaired. That part I do not know but I do know it was a tear. He's more than likely done for the season. |

I can't believe that in the year of the Lord 2018, anyone believes it is reasonable and acceptable that Johan "4 goals" Larsson plays 17 minutes.
I just refuse to accept that as a rational opinion |

You are the only credible poster blaming the secondary scoring issue on the scrubs. 22 and 28
Its partially there fault. Like 10%

A sprain is a tear. There are 3 grades of sprain:
1st degree – mild sprain, slight pain
2nd degree – moderate sprain, partial tear of ligaments, swelling and more pain
3rd degree – severe rupture of ligaments, popping noise heard, more swelling and pain
And whether or not he comes back this year is irrelevent. When he's either healthy(Anderson too) or Barkley knows the book(and Anderson is healthy) Peterman should not be on this team. But until either one of those things happens, unfortunately he's going to be on the roster. |

When you take even strength minutes away from 37 and 23 to give to 22 and 28, you are essentially guaranteeing that those minutes will not result in a Sabres goal.
It has to be more than 10% their fault because they're playing more than Reinhart and Mittelstadt
Mittelstadt played 4 mins even strength against CBJ - whether you think that's the right call is apart from the point that those minutes are then allocated to the Larsson line, which does not score. It is a direct correlation between giving that line minutes, and not scoring. |

This is the weakest argument you could have provided. He is playing almost 20 minutes a night. He is a problem. And he doesn't play defense, he just sucks so much he gets stuck HAVING TO DEFEND, which is entirely different than playing defense. |
