is that Lines2 & 3 aren’t playing well enough to take icetime away form the
“4th line”

Lines 2&3 need to be much more productive with their icetime,
then they’ll get more

The reason the Larsson line is getting more icetime is bc they’re generally playing pretty decent, if not good even

If I’m Botterill, I’m looking to make a move for a middle 6 winger, and offering a D man or decent prospect.

The other lines are getting some shots, eventually a goal or so will go in. But a decent winger might make a huge difference

I don’t think we see any moves. This was always going to be an intermediary year until we start to actually compete.

Before the season started everyone was happy to see entertaining hockey and improvement on the ice and in the standings.

We are much better than last year and I’m actually entertained watching the product on the ice this year.

The flashes of great play has everyone thinking we are supposed to be competing to win the division.

Let’s just take the entertaining highs with the lows of a young team

Everyone is playing the same amount of even strength minutes.

And now there's a grinder on every line except for the top one

The grinders are everywhere. Reinhart is centered by a grinder, mitts had a grinder on his left. The larsson line -which is in reality the second/3rd line 5-on-5- is all grinders. There are too many damn grinders grinding everything

Gotta say, Johan Larsson looks a bit more effective this season. The goals aren't there but his line plays a lot in the OZ, which is a far cry from where it used to be ..
