Him starting slow every year isn’t like, good or something. It’s a problem.
It’s not like he’s slumping and just not getting bounces. He’s doing nothing.
He looks like Cody Hodgson - sbroads24

yup
team is still slow
below average center play on 2nd and 3rd line
not enough goal scorers on roster
and not enough dahlin on the ice - homiedclown
I don’t get that either. He already is our best d man. And he is really starting to show confidence. It’s only a matter of time before he takes over a game. |

His collar was blue.
I actually loved that guy too. He never should have been on the team let alone on the top line but some how (hasek) they made it work and went deep in the playoffs (hasek). |

Hecht scoring goals from below the goal line was a thing of beauty. |

Has to have the most goals from behind the goal line in NHL history. |

he was an echl player that carved out a nice nhl career due to one thing and one thing only
constant hustle
if half the sabres hustled like varada did on every shift we would be icing a team with 6 to 8 all stars |

Dahlin makes so many plays look so easy. I can’t believe he’s not in the first pairing.
Move risto down to his natural spot as a 3-4 |

I agree. Something to try and light a spark, this or a demotion that he rightfully deserves at this point. |

Dahlin last night had 3 guys coming down on him in the corner. Made two stick handles and hit a perfect outlet pass between the three.
Risto same thing tries just to bounce it off on the glass and turns it over leading to ottawa being in teh zone for an extended amount of time. |

This is the exact thing that frustrates me with him.
A few games ago he made an excellent defensive play in our zone stripping the puck from someone and then he had Sheary (I think) heading up ice and instead just blindly threw it off the boards with no one close to him |

do you think this is a habit from the we suck just get it out era? or is that his style of play? He has never been on a good nhl team so that might be a very hard habit to break on him |
