I thought Mete was solid last night....for the most part.
- hscesq

Yeah, he was. Still, sometimes I think he doesn't look ready, that they are rushing him.

I think he can turn out to be a Torey Krug-lite. No way he'll get Krug's numbers, but he will bring some offense at some point

The salary cap recapture calculation looks at the sum of the salary paid to the player compared to the cap hit they were charged over the same time period. Any cap savings over that time become eligible for recapture.

On the tying goal yesterday, he used his speed to carry the puck in the offensive zone and near the capitals net.

He's doing a fine job and will keep improving.

Yeah, that was a nice play. He had a few other looks during that game where he just pinched at the right time. Still needs to work on his shot though.

In his zone he gets out-muscled, he needs to use his stick constantly because he won't win a lot of strength battles along the boards.

It was to prevent the front loaded deals and if Weber sticks around until the end then it's all good, but with the last few years at 1M they had to now this was going to come back to bite them in the DT999

Jeremiah Addison put on waivers for contract termination. He was sent down to the ECHL but refused to report. Wishes to take a step back from hockey and go back to school.

Kind of liked the guy. I guess that shoulder injury last year derailed his career a bit.

We will see about Weber.

Not sure how well he fits in this fast mode team... that is where I am most concerned, TBH.

- Mashadar

I'm also concerned about this ... on the other hand, we sure could use him on the PP.
