Sutter is a good defensive forward but a black hole for offence. Once Gaudette is up and running it's either Sutter or Beagle.

He's a lot better than Beagle IMO. There's a reason that guy plays 12 minutes a night. Sutter is a great lockdown 3C. Ya doesn't produce that much, but is on par with a lot of 3c's out there.

there was a lot of smoke when Roy got fired and the kind of things he would say about their drafts and prospects, but basically he told certain prospects they'd never play for him or let them know in other ways or something. no idea why, but Roy is Roy.

there was some stories that came out on twitter at the time that you might be able to dig up from some of the beat guys and bloggers that have/had ins with the org

i remember one where he apparently told all the scouts after a draft they don't know poop about hockey because of the picks they made because they didn't listen to him. that might have been the summer that sakic didn't GAF about what Roy thought about trades and UFA when he decided to quit in August.

depending how much stock you want to give to those rumours, I won't be surprised if Roy never finds an NHL job again unless the Habs get desperate enough to go down that road, or QC does the dumbest thing possible and hands their expansion/relocation team over to him
