It's a long season, and things can change fast, but I don't think anybody would have had us at 9-6 after 15 games. Great effort!

Fun game last night, for a fan. Defensive coverage and goaltending were of the 80's caliber, but who cares, goals make it more fun to watch.

Geez, who would have thought rookies generate excitement. Win or lose fans care about them and want to watch them grow into winners. Rookies make mistakes but they can be overlooked because fans can see the excitement and emotion they bring to the game.

I don't know if it was luck or great decision making by Benning and the scouting staff but one kid can absolutely turn things in a positive direction for you. That bank pass off the end boards can only be processed quickly like that by a few NHL'ers. The finally found an elite number one center.

Not to detract from a great night, a lot of fun watching Pettersson, Boeser and Horvat, but the Avs goalie sucked terribly last night. Markstrom was equally as bad.
